About Atilano Productions
I’m Omar Atilano, a filmmaker based in Houston, Texas.
Storytelling has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Long before weddings, cameras, or businesses, I was drawn to moments, emotions, and the quiet details that make a story feel real.
At Atilano Productions, we believe wedding films should feel honest, personal, and timeless. Not staged. Not over-directed. Simply real.
Our approach
Each couple we work with values authenticity.
Our films are created with an artistic eye while staying true to the couple’s style, energy, and connection. We focus on observing rather than directing, allowing moments to unfold naturally so nothing feels forced or performative.
That naturalistic approach is essential to preserving genuine memories, the kind you can return to years later and feel them again.
A little about me
I was born and raised in Guadalajara, Mexico.
I bring over 20 years of experience capturing stories through film and photography, including time working within the feature film world in Mexico. That background shaped the way I see pacing, emotion, and visual storytelling.
I am married to my soulmate, and together we have backpacked through more than 26 countries, documenting cultures, people, and moments along the way.
I’m also a proud father. My daughter’s name is Luna.
And my not-so-secret truth is this, weddings are my favorite stories to tell. A father’s toast almost always puts a tear in my eye. Those moments are why I care so deeply about telling these stories with intention.
Why couples choose us
Couples often tell us they felt comfortable, calm, and supported throughout the day.
We blend in quietly, guide when needed, and stay focused on what matters most, allowing you to be fully present while we take care of preserving the day.
Every wedding we film carries responsibility, trust, and intention.
Let’s connect
If this approach resonates with you and you value storytelling that feels personal and meaningful, we would love to connect.
